This applies to the design of every solution of every kind. It is hard to express how many times this bites people, even those who know this. But beyond the fact that this very concept is literally forgotten often in business, life, and technology…there are two bigger issues:
- Properly knowing how to assess if a particular solution design is good or bad (including having the right/best person(s) perform the assessment)
- Knowing where to get and who to ask about implementing a good design
